PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE
By: Jay Webster
Over three hundred and fifty
REALTORS® and their families attended the Annual Awards
Membership Luncheon Meeting in March. The luncheon, held at the LaFontaine Bleu, honored the
outstanding performance of agents during 1999.
We had many new entrants this year because of the revised
rules which made the entry process much easier. Congratulations to
Connie Stommel, Chairman, and the Awards Committee for a job well
done.
By the time you receive this Newsletter, we will have held our
annual RPAC fundraiser at BET SoundStage.
This event is so important to our fundraising efforts. I hope that you were able to attend and enjoy the evening.
The Annual REALTORS® Outing will be held on Monday, June
5th, at the
Courses at Andrews Air Force Base. All members should plan to attend
this year as there will be something for everyone. Sign up for Golf,
Tennis, Volleyball, Horseshoes or even Basketball.
But if that seems too much like work, you can bring your lawn
chair and watch the sports events.
Just come and relax with your colleagues. It'll be a fun day
for everyone. Detailed information is enclosed in this mailing.
Also don't forget to visit the Association website located at www.pgcar.com. Education
classes as well as other important information is easily accessible
there. If you
have suggestions for improving the website, please call Craig at the
Association office.
Finally, the Association will sponsor a blood drive in conjunction
with the American Red Cross. The
blood drive will be held on May 24th from 1 p.m. to 6
p.m. Your participation
will be appreciated.
IT'S
NOT TO LATE TO SIGN UP FOR
THE BLOOD DRIVE
The Association in cooperation with the American Red Cross is
sponsoring a Blood Drive on May 24, 2000 at the Association office.
Those who would like to participate in the Blood Drive may call the
Association office (301) 306-7900 for the times available to
register or return the form that is enclosed.
