The Awards Committee’s unanimous choice for PGCAR’S REALTOR® of the Year for 2006 is DAVID MACLIN. David has demonstrated business accomplishment, faithfulness to the Code of Ethics and civic and community involvement. David manages the Lanham office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. David has also participated on the State and National level to a degree which makes him truly worth of the title "REALTOR® OF THE YEAR". We are so proud to congratulate David on receiving this honor.
The Board of Directors has authorized the President to annually select an individual who through past service to the Association is worthy of receipt of the Distinguished Service Award. This year, David Maclin selected to honor a very special REALTOR® to receive the Distinguished Service Award. This member has served this Association unselfishly for many years. He has served as Chairman of many of our Association Committees and has served as a Director, Vice President, President-Elect and President of the Association. He is always willing to take on any task to benefit the Association. This year's Distinguished Service Award was presented to a member who truly deserves special recognition, BOYD CAMPBELL.
This year’s recipient of the Distinguished Sales Association Award is LINDA SIMPSON. Linda was selected based on her professional knowledge, business accomplishment, civic activity and especially for her contribution to this Association, the Maryland Association, the National Association and the real estate industry. Linda has been very active at the local Association level and is very well-respected and admired by all who know her. She has served on many Association committees and she is the immediate Past President of the local Women's Council of REALTORS® Chapter.
The Association is so appreciative of its Affiliate Members and the support that they give to the Association. This year, BELTWAY TITLE was recognized as PGCAR'S Affiliate of the Year. Beltway Title was selected based on their unselfish participation in local Association functions and their tireless service to both the Association and the community. Beltway Title was also recognized for their fair business practices and Affiliate spirit over the years.
